Dining at Holiday Inn Dar es Salaam

In the Gaucho Restaurant, our team work hard to perfect the
recipe for a successful dining experience. Located on the ground floor this
bright modern marble clad restaurant with large outside patio area and Panoramic
Wall enabling guests to view the full operation of the kitchen in full production
on one side and the day to day life of this most vibrant city pass you by on
the other.
The Gaucho Restaurant operates daily from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm starting
with breakfast, through to morning coffee homemade pastries, through to a buffet
lunch, afternoon teas and of course a fine evening dinner, also offering Room
Service around the clock. Our seasonal menu features freshly cooked local produce,
while the daily buffet reflects on our International brigade includes international
dishes from around the world.
Why not try our relaxing Coffee Lounge on the first floor serving a selection of freshly made sandwiches and baguettes, fresh pastries and a selection of hot and cold beverages as well as a selection of nutritional freshly made Fruit Juices.
On the 1st floor is our Bar @ One. 09:00-00:00 This modern,
bright attractive bar with its glass partition wall overlooking the Luxury Ground
Floor Reception area below serves a full range of alcoholic and non alcoholic
beverages and a lighter food option from 11:00 am – 22:00.
The Jewel in our crown is our 11th Floor rooftop “Al Dar” Shisha
Bar and Restaurant. Opening from 17.00 each evening until 01.00 Monday – Friday
and till 02:00 pm Saturday - Sunday. This open air haven with its
panoramic views of the city below or the Indian Ocean in the other direction
brings you a taste of Africa. Why not make yourself comfortable on our genuine
Moroccan furniture smoking your favourite flavour of Shisha or enjoy a traditional Middle
Eastern meal prepared for you in our rooftop kitchen by our genuine Moroccan
chefs. This is an absolute delight and should not be missed.
Breakfast
In the Gaucho Restaurant available Monday-Friday 06:30-10.30, Saturday-Sunday
06:30-11:30 you will be served a wide choice for breakfast, whether you're in
the mood for a healthy bowl of cereal and some fresh fruit or the full cooked “English
Breakfast”. Holiday Inn offers coffee made from a premium choice of coffee
beans, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh eggs cooked to your liking, top quality
bacon, fresh fruit and cereals. Our professional staff ensures that you depart
on time with the minimum of delay. You can use the breakfast check-out facility
to send you on your way. Room Service breakfast is also available daily. For
those of you staying in one of our Executive rooms you can have a Complimentary
Continental Breakfast served in your exclusive Executive Lounge situated on the
10th floor. |
